What are Paid Surveys?

Customer service surveyYou may not be familiar with the idea of Paid Surveys but it is one of the most popular ways to earn money working from home and is done by thousands of people right across the UK.

Paid surveys are essentially market research questionnaires that companies ask  consumers to complete to find out more about their opinions and thoughts about their business and the products and services they deliver. Businesses could ask consumers to take part in online surveys in a number of different situations including:

  • For launching new products onto the market – Online surveys are used in this situation to find out if the new product will be accepted and make money for the business. If a good response is given then then the product or service will launch immediately if not then more research will be carried out.
  • For starting a new business – Businesses that are starting out want to know if their service is actually wanted, they can also be used to improve and help develop the products and services they are launching.
  • For marketing – Existing businesses use online surveys on a regular basis for marketing purposes to find out what the market think of their products and services and what consumers think of their competitors so that they one step ahead of their competition. It’s a much better marketing technique to get feedback from real consumers than just guessing.

When a business identifies the need to conduct a survey this is passed onto market research sites who design an online survey for them. The market research providers then contact consumers who fit the profile of a consumer who would be interested in the business product or service and invite them to register with their site and join their panel. Part of the money that the business pays to the market research site is then passed on to you for completing the online surveys.

So as you can see online surveys do serve a very important purpose for businesses around the world which is why they can be so rewarding for you!
